Welcome to the Rockland Parent Child Center

The Rockland Parent-Child Center is a non-profit organization located in Nyack, NY dedicated to fostering the richest possible relationship between parents and their children.  Our programs address the unique circumstances and needs of families with children of all ages, at all stages of development, and families facing a wide variety of challenges in their lives.  Each program provides peer and professional support to increase family communication and coping skills, decrease stress and enable families to build formal and informal networks of support within their own communities.  All programs are grant and/or funded by private donors and are subject to demand and community need.

Family support programs have included playgroups for parents and toddlers, support groups for parents of infants, parents of teens and tweens, adoptive families, single parents and parents of children with special needs.   The Rockland Parent-Child Center also collaborates with other local youth and family organizations, to further extend and strengthen our reach across the county, including Head Start.

We acknowledge each family for its unique set of strengths and our programs build on those strengths by connecting parents and children in a meaningful way. The Rockland Parent-Child Center offers a range of services that meet the changing needs of families throughout Rockland County, NY.
