Mission Statement
The Rockland Parent-Child Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the richest possible relationship between parents and their children. Our play and support groups, parent education workshops and community speaker events address the unique circumstances and needs of parents with young children, school age children and families facing specific challenges in their lives. Each program we offer provides peer and professional support to increase family skills, decrease family stress and enable families to build formal and informal networks of support.
Vision Statement

We empower parents and caregivers by providing tools and strategies to help them gain valuable insight, build self-confidence, improve communication, and enhance self-advocacy skills:
Parent involvement: Members are encouraged to volunteer and help direct the kinds of programs offered.
Communication: Programs provide a safe place for the routine exchange of ideas and concerns between parents and facilitators.
Skills building: A wide variety of informational programs are offered including childbirth preparation, parenting, time/stress management, financial planning and more.
Referrals - RPCC collaborates with numerous Rockland-based family support organizations and agencies, enabling us to make necessary referrals to ensure that families received the support they need.
RPCC builds community by facilitating the creation of formal and informal networks of support FOR families and BY families.
Members connect and socialize in a cooperative and supportive environment. RPCC’s relationships with outside resources and professionals help create the best possible network of support and resources for members and their families.
