14 th Annual River Auction
“GO GREEN TO GROW”
–SATURDAY, MAY 3RD, 2-5, NYACK CENTER
Held each year in May, the River Auction raises critical dollars to support of all the Center’s operations. This year’s Auction raised over $20,000 and was a wonderful way to spend a spring weekend afternoon to support a local organization that serves as a second home for many local families.
The event was a festive 4-hour family-friendly “party” held at the historic Nyack Center in downtown Nyack. Over 250 items were donated to the Auction and ranged from vacation homes, sports tickets, antiques & furniture, to goods and services such as massages, nursery school tuition, haircuts and pet grooming parties, photographic sessions and a range of antiques and furniture.
While participating in the Live and the Silent Auction, families enjoyed the café area, young children were creating art in the children’s room with arts and crafts, older kids attended the kid’s camp.
